Did you know that May is official Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month? Yes, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) wisely chose the month that usually hits us hardest with seasonal allergies as the time to spread information and awareness on the topic.

Here are some ways for you to recognize this month, courtesy of the AAFA’s community blog:

Go viral

Use your various social media accounts to educate your family and friends about asthma and allergy awareness. Whether you set your Facebook profile picture to one of these neat infographics or awareness ribbons, or Tweet a ready-made asthma and allergy fact, social media is an awesome, easy way to get people talking and thinking about this cause.

Pass it on

A great way to show your support is by spreading the word and sharing information.
